Creating soulful, elevated interiors for over 25 years.
We believe our surroundings profoundly shape how we feel and live. A home can ground you, energize you, and quietly support you. Using our training, experience, knowledge, and thoughtful design process, we create spaces that feel effortlessly right and provide our clients a sense of peace and joy.
Every space we design becomes a kind of self-portrait for our clients—an expression of their lifestyle, values, and tastes. Through our careful attention to scale, color, materiality, texture and comfort, spaces feel effortless, beautiful, authentic, and emotionally resonant.
We deeply value our clients and view each project as a genuine partnership. Together, we elevate everyday living with grounded, personal, and timeless environments.
Laura Roberts, Founder
Laura has been designing interiors for over 20 years. Her journey began long before she started her firm—stitching and weaving as a child, studying Fiber at the Art Institute of Chicago, and building a home for herself in 2001 that was featured on the AIA Homes Tour. That experience launched her studio and set the foundation for a career rooted in creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal.
She has collaborated with top architects, builders, and craftspeople on ground-up homes, extensive remodels, and major interior refreshes, creating thoughtful environments that reflect a wide range of client lifestyles and sensibilities. Her work has been featured in Traditional Home, Tribeza, Austin Home, Luxe Magazine, and the book Texas Made Texas Modern. With a lifelong love of fabrics, texture, and materiality, she brings artistry, creativity, and decades of experience to every project she undertakes.
Laura also continues her personal art practice, creating tapestries using found objects, gold leaf, burning, paint, and stitching, including her current series, Landscape of Blessings, which reflects her roots and full-circle creative journey.
Kristen Thorsen, Interior Designer
Kristen brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to interior design. She studied Environmental Design (Architecture) at the University of Colorado Boulder and grew up around the building process as the child of custom home builders.
She refined her skills in New York City, working with Eric Hilton Ltd., Holland & Sherry, and Chelsea Textiles, where she developed a strong foundation in materials, textiles, and craftsmanship. Kristen’s background allows her to contribute a careful eye and a deep appreciation for quality to every project.
Hil Wong
Hil’s design career has taken her from Toronto to Stockholm and Hong Kong, giving her experience across a range of design cultures and environments. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Interior Design, she has worked across residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, developing an appreciation for creating spaces that feel thoughtful, comfortable, and personal.
Her background in film and television set design has also shaped her approach, giving her a strong eye for composition, detail, and the way a space comes together. Hil enjoys the collaborative process of bringing a project to life, from the first ideas to the final details, and is especially drawn to the elements that give a space its own character.
